About BAAR

The Brazilian Association for Aerosol Research (BAAR) is a nonprofit professional organization for scientists and engineers who wish to promote and communicate technical advances in the field of aerosol research. The Association fosters the exchange of information among members and with other disciplines through conferences, symposia, and short courses.

Association membership represents all areas of aerosol science including: Aerosol Chemistry, Aerosol Physics, Air Pollution, Atmospheric Sciences, Biological Aerosols, Combustion, Filtration/Separation, Global Environment,Instrumentation/Measurement,  Indoor and Microenvironment Air Quality, Material Synthesis,  Metrology/Standards, Microcontamination, Occupational and Public Health, Pharmaceutical Aerosols, and Radioactive Aerosols/Nuclear Safety.

BAAR is committed to the development of aerosol science and engineering, and its application to important societal issues. It offers an international forum for education, communication, and networking among leading aerosol researchers.
